This artwork reflects the unforgettable days I spent in Havana. From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with the city’s ambiance, as if I had stepped back in time. I spent my days wandering the streets, overwhelmed by the beauty and charm surrounding me, capturing countless photographs to preserve the memories. One of the highlights of my trip was walking along the iconic El Malecón boardwalk, where the bay meets the city. I observed locals enjoying their day, strolling or sitting as like time doesn’t exist. I had a lot of fun riding in a vintage 1950s car to Havana Harbor, the country’s main port, observing the colors of Havana like in a dream: faded azure, earthy beige, old green, and soft violet tones blended with the everyday charm of hanging laundry in the breeze. It felt as though I had stepped inside a living painting. No visit to Havana would be complete without stopping at Revolution Square to see the Ministry of the Interior building, where Che Guevara’s legendary image and his timeless rallying cry, "¡Hasta la victoria siempre!" continue to inspire. This piece captures the richness and timeless beauty of a city evolving while carrying the pastel hues of its storied past into the present.
