FAQ
GENERAL
Do you take all the pictures yourself?
Yes. Each image in my artworks is photographed by me, so every piece is authentic and unique. You will not find mass-produced stock photos in my collections.
How do you create your pieces?
My process begins with selecting the images, which I then edit and layer using photography software. By working the layers and the color, I build each artwork into a single composition. To learn more, visit the About Me page.
Do you offer your artworks as digital files for download?
No. I provide gallery-quality photographic prints that I can personally certify, and I do not sell digital files.
Where are the prints made, mounted and framed?
I work with WhiteWall, an award-winning photo lab known for gallery-quality prints, mounting, and framing. They have been voted the world's best photo lab by TIPA seven times.
What material are your prints made of?
I print my artwork on Fuji Crystal DP II, a premium gallery-quality photo paper known for luminous color and remarkable longevity. The paper reproduces deep contrast and a wide tonal range, giving the work a striking visual impact.
Fuji Crystal DP II has an extremely wide color gamut and is designed to be non-fade for at least 75 years. The glossy finish enhances the depth of the artwork, creating an immersive viewing experience.
- Surface feel: Smooth
- Surface finish: Glossy
- Longevity: Non-fade for at least 75 years
Do you offer limited editions?
Yes, all my prints are limited editions. Each size is its own edition: the small is limited to 20, the medium to 10, and the large to 5. Every print is individually numbered, hand-signed, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
Does the print come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes. Each limited edition print is individually numbered and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity that confirms its origin and gallery-grade quality.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Meta Pay.
FRAMING & SIZE
Do you offer framing?
Yes. All sizes can be ordered mounted and framed with a black or white floater frame. If you would like a finish or framing option beyond what is shown, contact me at charlotte@charlottefonne.com and I will help you find the right fit for you.
What size frames do I need for my prints?
Print-only orders in the smaller sizes fit standard ready-made frames, which makes them easy to frame at home. The rectangular prints come in 10" x 15", 16" x 24", and 24" x 36", and the square hotel prints come in 15" x 15" and 25" x 25". For the large sizes (40" x 60", 40" x 40", and 48" x 48"), I recommend a custom frame from your local framer.
What materials are your frames made of?
My floater frames are custom-made from solid hardwood, creating a gap between the image and the frame that gives the impression the artwork floats on the wall. The design is contemporary, elegant, and subtle, enhancing the presence of the piece without overwhelming it. Available in black or white, the frame complements a variety of styles.
- Frame Width: 0.6 in. (15 mm)
- Frame Depth: 1.14 in. (29 mm)
- Frame Shadow Gap: 0.27 in. (7 mm)

Do you ship worldwide?
My store is currently set up for shipping within the United States. That said, my pieces are produced at my lab in Germany and can be shipped almost anywhere. If you live outside the US and would like to purchase a piece, contact me at charlotte@charlottefonne.com with your location and the size you would like, and I will send you a personal quote that includes shipping.
How long does shipping take? When will my order ship?
Each piece is made to order and carefully packaged for safe delivery. Mounted and framed pieces typically arrive within 2 to 3 weeks, including production, dispatch, and delivery. Print-only orders ship faster, usually within about a week. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number to follow its progress.
If your order has not arrived within 3 weeks of receiving your tracking number, contact me at charlotte@charlottefonne.com with your name and order number.
How will my order be shipped?
Prints are shipped rolled in a durable tube or flat in a sturdy envelope, depending on size. Mounted and framed artworks are packed with bubble wrap in a sturdy box. The large sizes (40" x 60", 40" x 40", and 48" x 48") are shipped in a thin 3-inch crate.
Where does my artwork ship from, and what will I receive?
Your artwork ships directly from WhiteWall, my professional photo lab, known for museum-quality production and secure packaging. You will also receive a separate envelope from me with your Certificate of Authenticity and a label for the back of your artwork. This label is part of the artwork's authenticity, so please apply it gently to the reverse side.
Do I receive a tracking number once I place an order?
After you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know it has entered my production queue. Once your package is on its way, a second email will follow with your tracking number. If your order has not arrived within 3 weeks of receiving that tracking number, contact me at charlotte@charlottefonne.com with your name and order number and I will look into it.
What shipping methods do you use?
Your artwork ships from WhiteWall via FedEx or DHL. Large pieces above 40" x 40" ship by FedEx Freight (TNT). Your Certificate of Authenticity is sent separately by me via USPS.
Once I have placed my order, can I change it or edit the shipping details?
If you need to update your shipping details, contact me at charlotte@charlottefonne.com as soon as possible. If your order has not yet shipped, I will be able to make the change.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
Can I cancel my order?
Once an order is placed, it enters production right away and cannot be canceled.
Can I return my order?
Because every piece is custom-made once ordered, I cannot offer refunds for a change of mind after an order is placed. My e-gift cards do not expire, but they are non-refundable once purchased.
My order was damaged. Can you replace it?
Yes. If your order arrives damaged, please accept the delivery anyway and take clear photos of both the packaging and the damage. Refusing the shipment only slows things down. Email me at charlotte@charlottefonne.com within 48 hours of delivery with the photos and your order number.
To send a replacement, my lab requires that the damaged piece be destroyed and that a photo be provided as proof. Once I receive that confirmation, your replacement is produced and sent. This step also protects the integrity of each limited edition, since a damaged piece must never remain in circulation.
