Discover Chicago the way I remember it! This artwork brings together the places I visited and the memories of my time in this beautiful city, which is full of hidden gems. One of my favorite experiences was crossing the Dearborn Street Bridge, which spans the Chicago River and connects the Near North Side with The Loop, Chicago’s central business district. It was always refreshing to stroll just beneath the bridge on the Riverwalk, where both locals and visitors come together to socialize, grab a drink, work out, or simply enjoy the walk. As I walked the streets, I admired some of Chicago’s most iconic buildings, from the round Marina City towers to the shiny golden top of the Carbide and Carbon Building. There was the sleek Mather Tower, the graceful Regalia Tower, the historic Jewelers’ Building, and the stylish London House, each with its own unique character. Another highlight was discovering Lake Michigan. The shores of Oak Street Beach are a perfect retreat for families and children to play, adding to the city’s charm. This piece is about the scale, the light, and the vibrant energy that defines Chicago, a city I hold close to my heart and have wanted to return to ever since I first encountered her beauty.
