STORY
In Venetian Carnival, Charlotte Fonne creates a portrait of a woman wearing a mask during the Venice Carnival through her layered photographic technique. Each element of the artwork is carefully selected to represent fragments of her life and environment, forming a visual exploration of identity. a French-American artist, photographer, and traveler based in Miami. Inspired by art history and my travels, I build each artwork by layering many of my own photographs into a single image. What I keep is not how a place looked, but how I remember it.
