STORY
In Mayan Warrior, Charlotte Fonne creates a portrait of a man in traditional Mayan attire through her layered photographic technique. Each element of the artwork is carefully selected to represent his connection with fragments of life and environment, forming a visual exploration of identity. The fusion of his expression with elements of Tulum, Mexico, such as ocean, lush vegetation and ancient temple stones, reflects the history and culture he carries within him.
