This artwork is my way of capturing the heart of Rio de Janeiro as I experienced it. I loved the energy of Ipanema Beach with people enjoying the beach, playing frescobol (a sport invented in Rio), sipping drinks, chatting, or just soaking up the sun and I was drawn to the beautiful golden sunsets slipping between the Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers) mountain, casting their glow on the city. While wandering, I stumbled upon a hidden mural with a skull on a quiet side street—something unexpected that caught my eye, an intriguing contrast to the lively beach life. If you look closely, you’ll also find tiny figures visiting the Museu do Amanhã (Museum of Tomorrow), they’re admiring the star sculpture, a little detail that might take some time to spot! The iconic Christ the Redeemer stands tall over the city, a sight that left me in awe, and tucked away in a local church, I found São Judas Tadeu, a figure of hope for many. Both moments felt so meaningful during my time there. This piece is really about the layers of Rio—the lively beach, hidden gems, and the deeper spiritual touches I felt along the way.
I personally photographed every image used in creating this artwork, ensuring a genuine and unique piece.

Certificate of Authenticity
When you purchase a limited edition artwork with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), you’re getting something truly special:
- Exclusivity and Value: Only a limited number of these pieces are ever made, making each one rare and unique. Owning such a piece not only sets it apart but also increases its value over time.
- Originality: The COA guarantees that your artwork is an original creation, not a mass-produced copy. It’s proof that you’re buying something directly crafted by my hand.
- Investment: As a collector, having a COA and a limited edition number gives your artwork credibility. With fewer copies available, the piece can hold or even increase in value over time.
- Personal Connection: Each piece is hand-signed and comes with a unique serial number, making your purchase feel more personal. You’re not just acquiring art—you’re owning a part of my creative journey.
